World Gift Ware Company Heritage
World Gift Ware (or more accurately translated to World Wax Goods) was founded in 1918 in Amsterdam, Holland by Jacobus H. deGroot. Wax and other imported trade items arriving from Africa and South America were crafted into finest unique goods.
The company was quite well-known. When World War II began all of the manufacturing equipment used by Jacobus had to be placed in storage during the war. While in storage, the equipment was irreperably damaged by high water levels. World Wax Goods had to close shop.
World Gift Ware Today
Established by Herman de Groot in 1991, World Gift Ware continues the spirit of the original company, providing the finest in silk flower arrangements, plants, trees and custom silk flower baskets.
World Gift Ware uses only the finest quality silk flowers are used in each arrangement. Every item is handcrafted, unique and lifelike in appearance. Our silk flower arrangements will add beauty to any room and give years of enjoyment.
